Trained Peer Support Specialists are available 24/7 to provide friendly, anonymous support. Whether it’s feelings of loneliness or struggles with substance use, our specialists have been there. They can help you steer clear of a crisis before it happens, and also celebrate the joyful moments. The Warm Line is open to anyone 18 years of age or older and is not limited to people with a diagnosis or mental health concern. For calls other than English the Interpreter Line is available. We’ve been in your shoes and are ready to help. Our Peer Support Specialists are trained to provide compassionate support and access to resources. But they’ve also had direct personal experiences with their own mental health challenges and recoveries. Warm Line specialists offer peer support, help with recovery, and assist you before you reach a crisis situation. Here’s what you can expect when you call: The Warm Line is available to anyone 18 years of age or older. We’ll maintain strict confidentiality around anything you share. You can remain anonymous and we won’t document any personal information. We’ll provide individualized care and undivided attention throughout the call to listen and respond to your personal needs. When we’re experiencing a high volume of calls, you may experience wait times. To help us serve more people, all calls are limited to 5 to 10 minutes each and you may call only once per hour. The specialist will tell you when your call is nearing its end and when you’ll be able to call back if you need to talk more.

- Heal | Warm Line Providing First Emotional Relief Our Warm Line provides non-emergency emotional support, staffed by Peer Navigators who understand your challenges firsthand. They offer attentive listening, compassionate support, and promote mental wellness while connecting you with resources and services for crisis prevention. We are a team of volunteers who were once newcomers to America. Each of us left Ukraine for different reasons and faced unique challenges, from finding an apartment to landing a first job, or filing taxes. We needed someone who understood what immigrants and refugees are going through and could lend a hand. Though time has passed, the challenges newcomers face remain the same. When Russia launched a full-scale war on February 24, 2022, many Ukrainians came to the United States. We have been helping them in many ways, but saw an opportunity to do more, that is how Hugspace was born. Our mission is to help you navigate the rollercoaster of emotions with immediate, empathetic, and confidential support. Think of us as your emotional GPS, here to reroute you when life gets bumpy! Why Hugspace? Hugspace is a warm line, an academy, and a peer community created by Ukrainians, we speak Ukrainian, Russian and English. We all need a safe space to talk and feel understood. While the U.S. programs for refugees exist, they often lack cultural support. That is why we created Hugspace - a space, where you can get a hug - physical or emotional. Studies confirm that hugs ease pain, anxiety, and depression . Our peer navigators are fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Russian and are just a call away to support you through the resettlement journey. We also partner with certified trainers to teach stress management, meditation, and breathing exercises.

ABOUT MALU I KA ʻULU The Malu i Ka ʻUlu program is dedicated to promoting mental health and self-healing for Maui County residents affected by the Maui wildfires. Malu i Ka ʻUlu translates to “shaded by the breadfruit tree” in Hawaiian and symbolizes protection, peace, nourishment, and growth. Just as the Pu’uhonua system provided shelter and rejuvenation, we aim to offer a restorative space for individuals to regain their strength and continue their journey with renewed energy and resilience. Geography served: Hawaiian Islands - our warm line was created after the August 8 th 2023 wildfires on Maui, for survivors of the Maui wildfires. Many survivors have moved to different islands so anyone on any of the islands is able to call us.

- Are you looking for a place to come during a crisis, but don’t want or need a hospital or other immediate professional care? Is there anyone you can call, or actually talk to face-to-face — someone who has “walked in your shoes?” Could a peer help you figure out the next steps to take to deal with the immediate crisis and continue in your own recovery? The answer to all these questions is, YES. The place is Safe Harbor, and the person you can sit down with in a comfortable, calm setting is one of our Peer Specialists — one of your peers. Call the Warm Line. A Safe Harbor Peer Support Specialist will answer any time of day or night.

- Always available and only a phone call away! No registration or assessment required. Just give us a call! Oregonians can call multiple times daily. Limited Out of State Access: When staffing capacity and call volume allow, we will accept out of state calls. At this time, we cannot guarantee out of state access. Call to have a confidential conversation with a peer trained in Intentional Peer Support. We will listen without judgment or criticism. Together we can learn and grow. People just want to be heard… And we are here for you! Whoever you are and whatever you may be going through, you are welcome on the Warmline! Our caring team of trained peers offers nonjudgmental and confidential peer support every day. No appointments needed! We are here for you! Our goal is to connect with you, to listen, and to discover together how we can make sense of our experiences. We understand that everyone has a unique worldview. People can see more possibilities for ourselves when we connect with a compassionate peer. Our Warmline Team members are people who have experienced life challenges – including moods, voices, visions, trauma, and addictions. We know what it is like to feel big feelings or to find ourselves in moments when there seems to be little to hope for. No need to go through this alone… Give us a call! David Romprey Oregon Warmline 1-800-698-2392 Intentional Peer Support (IPS) provides a powerful framework for creating relationships where both people learn and grow together. IPS is used across the world in community, peer support, and human services settings, and is a tool for community development that honors each person’s strengths and innate value. Why IPS? Peers come together around shared experiences and often a desire to change lives. But without a new framework to build upon, people frequently re-enact “help” based on what was done to them. IPS offers a foundation for doing something different. We focus on building relationships that are mutual, explorative, and conscious of power. We won’t try to “fix” you, but we would love to connect with you to listen, share, and learn with you as we both move forward in our life journeys.

- About Uplift WI This line is for Wisconsin residents and is staffed by certified peer specialists – people with lived experiences of mental health, substance use and other related life experiences. Call this line if you need someone to talk to for support when things are difficult, or when you just need a peer to connect with. You do not need to be in crisis to call this line. This line is fully anonymous and confidential and is not directly connected to crisis linkage services. We will not call emergency services on you unless you specifically request this from us, and that process will be led by you. Guarantees Peer Ethics Our line is staffed by peer support specialists, not therapists or counselors. A peer is a person who has lived experience navigating their own mental health or substance use. Peers work by providing judgment-free support. The person answering the phone may or may not have the same lived experience as you, but they are trained to let you lead on what you want to talk about and what support looks like for you. Unlike therapists, peers are able to speak from their personal experiences and may be more or less comfortable with various conversation topics depending on their own boundaries. Operators on this line are beholden to peer support best practices as defined by the Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist Scope of Practice , which include: Encouraging you to plan what you need yourself to pursue your own goals of wellness, including in crisis situations Supporting you in exploring the options and resources that work for you Providing culturally sensitive and age-appropriate support Self-determination: you determine what you need and want Advocacy: you are free to seek support advocating for yourself in navigating systems Respect for lived experience: we trust that you know your own life best
